Founded in 1997 by two World Bank executives seeking a means of combating global poverty, aims to unleash the potential of people around the world to make positive change happen.


The company is an online marketplace which connects you to causes around the world you care about. Once a location and cause are selected, you can make a tax deductible contribution and will receive regular progress updates to measure your impact.

Since 2002, Global Giving has enabled over 41,000 unique donors to give over 17 million to over 1300 projects around the world. Awesome.

Global Giving’s CEO, and co-founder, Dennis Whittle will be in attendance, joining a notable line up of panelists to discuss issues central to microfinance dot com and leveraging the power of the internet to scale and improve efficiency.
